Soccer Player Welsh Athlete Ramsey Ups Incentive for Missing Dog in Mexican Territory to $$20k
Welsh soccer player Ramsey has raised the incentive for information regarding his missing dog named Halo to £15k.
Ex- Arsenal and Cardiff midfielder, who now plays for Pumas UNAM in Mexico City, revealed that Halo was observed in a Mexican town, located in the Guanajuato region.
Halo, who vanished on 9 October, was had on a tracking device, and the footballer published a Google maps location of the spot she vanished from.
"Any sort of information concerning our beloved Halo please contact us. Big incentive for finding her. We are all wishing she is safe and will return to our family soon," Ramsey wrote on social media.
Initial Offer and Emotional Pleas
Ramsey initially revealed that Halo had gone missing a fortnight back and has subsequently shared multiple photos of the beloved canine on his social media account.
A £7,500 reward was originally announced, but with no news on Halo's status after a week, Ramsey and his family doubled the reward.
"Our only wish is Halo home," he stated in a further appeal on his online platforms after the decade-old dog went missing.
The latest image upload is a grayscale image of Halo napping, its head lying in the crook of Ramsey's arm, with the description: "What I'd do to cuddle you again sweet Halo."
Household's Worries and Background
Ramsey has additionally circulated a statement from his spouse Colleen on online channels saying they have several "important questions" about the disappearance and worry the household "could possibly not obtain explanations".
"We have yet to have not located our dog. I don't think we will," the spouse's post stated.
The Wales captain joined Mexican premier team Pumas UNAM in recent months and had his inaugural match in the Mexican league in the eighth month.
