In a surprising collaboration that breaks usual expectations, the game developer has revealed an in-game collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual Thanksgiving event runs from November 25 through December 22, including complimentary bonus story content for Shadows players.

Mysterious Mission Revealed

According to the official announcement, "A mysterious encounter leads heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a original mission, where whispers of banned rituals and terrifying changes echo through the obscurity." The storyline features a "unusually dressed woman named Ada" who charges the duo with journeying into the Crystalline Cavern—a key location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her friend from a clandestine group.

The adventure focuses on "strange experiments and a fearsome enemy" and is available to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.

Iconic Locations and Transformations

The preview highlights the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This important location was previously where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through ages. The preview finishes with a powerful moment showing a character, likely the prisoner, transforming into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.

Exclusive Items and Additional Material

Players who accomplish the quest will acquire an special katana together with several objects secreted throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also contains premium Attack on Titan item packs, including:
